Intel i7 Core Price Drop?
According to this post the Intel i7 core CPU will be cheaper in the coming weeks. Maybe it’s time to build a new gaming desktop PC. Mine is less than 2 years old. It’s a Core 2 Duo. Runs Starcraft 2 just fine, so I doubt I’ll build a new one for a while. Maybe next year, when the i7 Cores are cheaper.
Best Buy Starcraft 2 price hacked? Canceling pre-orders?
I woke up this morning to receive an email saying my order for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty was canceled. I immediately got up called 1-888-BEST-BUY and logged on to my computer to check the order status. It was canceled. I spoke to a lady from Colorado from Best Buy online customer service and she said the price for the SKU number for that product (Starcraft 2) was “accidentally” changed to 5.99 instead of 59.99. So to fix the price they had to cancel all the orders.
I thought to myself, it sounds like someone hacked it.
Anyways the lady was very nice and pre-ordered it again for me and gave me a discount for $5.

Can’t wait for this game to come out. Currently in the process of playing 1 and 2 on the new PS3 HD version. It’s mad hot.

Uncharted 2 is an amazing game!
This weekend I spent most of it playing Uncharted 2. It’s a really powerful game that really pulls you into the story. I love games with adventurous movie-like scripts. It’s so addicting that I think I’m about to beat the game. I’m actually contemplating not watching the Giants-Falcons game going on right now and finishing the game. haha. If only we had 3 day weekends.

The 60GB PlayStation can do damn near everything: backwards compatibility with upscaling, it can run Linux—something the Slim can’t do—it supports a smorgasbord of memory cards if you want to move files over, it has the Spider-Man logo on the top… and of course by 60GB we mean 250GB, since the hardcore out there have already upgraded their hard drives.
You can keep your silver logos, your lack of backwards compatibility, and your smaller systems. We’ll be sitting over here with our silver trim, huge shell, and PS2 games.
And for me, the best part was that I got it as a gift.
