I am confused.
I think he is much better then McCain in regards to US policies. But not much better in his Foreign Policy esp. towards Mid East.
and the biggest thing is he is a “murtad”.
What would rasool s.a.w. say about him?

He is not a Murtad and if you were put in a situation like Obama, his childhood, parents divorcing etc ,
You would have done the same thing and dont judge people and you know what Rusool said about Judging people!!!!
Abandoning your children is worse than a murtadi in my opinion.

@abdulrahim – What is the shariah definition of a murtad? From what I understand, Obama’s father left Obama before his book of deeds wasn’t opened yet with his non-Muslim mother.
From my knowledge, if a Muslim man marries a woman from Ahlul Kitab then he must raise his children as Muslims and his wife must agree to this. I agree with ‘lidaliqa’ in that it is the fault of Obama’s father who did not fulfill his obligation as a Muslim father.
Allah knows best, but the fact that Obama is willing to negotiate with the Taliban, talk with Iran, leave Iraq and increase taxes for the rich and decrease taxes for the poor is good enough for me right after 8 years of Bush.

Barak means blessing in swahili. Inshallah he is a blessing. He seems in tune with our problems and seems to put things in perspective really well. Lets give him a chance.
